Adopted at the First Leadership Conference

Edison, New Jersey, November 21–22, 2025

• We, the members and representatives of the Nepali diaspora in the United States, convene in Edison, New Jersey, to celebrate the historic inception of Prabas Nepali Samparka Samiti America (Nepali Diaspora Relation Committee America) and to affirm our shared commitment to unity, harmony, volunteerism, community service, empowerment, and collective progress.

• We declare the global launch of NepaliUSA.ORG, a national platform for connecting diaspora Nepali communities, leadership development, collaboration, and strategic action, with the motto:

“Rebuilding Nepal. Connecting Nepali Diaspora.”

• We recognize the election of the Inaugural Central Executive Committeeunder the leadership of Deepak B. Sunuwar, elected through a transparent and inclusive digital process via NiloKranti.com.

• We affirm the values of democratic participation, accountability, and good governance within the organization and the broader community.

• We commit to uniting and empowering the Nepali diaspora across the United States through:

• social, cultural, and educational initiatives

• youth leadership development

• community-based support systems

• national networking and coordination

• We pledge to foster mutual understanding, respect, and collaborationbetween Nepali-Americans and the wider American community.

• We support and promote:

• humanitarian and charitable assistance

• nation-building and educational initiatives in Nepal

• empowerment, equity, and inclusion for marginalized communities

• cultural preservation and celebration of Nepali heritage

• We advocate for human rights, social justice, transparency, good governance, press freedom, and freedom of expression in the U.S., Nepal, and globally.

• We emphasize the importance of responsible, accountable, and ethical leadership as the foundation of community advancement.

• We envision an equitable and inclusive society grounded in justice, empowerment, dignity, and collaboration for all.

• We recognize the growing strength and visibility of the Nepali diaspora—including professionals, students, workers, cultural leaders, and activists—and commit to mobilizing this collective capacity for positive impact.

• We adopt a leadership commitment pledge and long-term roadmapto strengthen diaspora networks, amplify community voices, and expand global advocacy.

With this New Jersey Declaration 2025, we firmly pledge unity, harmony, volunteerism, community service, and shared purpose for the Nepali diaspora in America and across the world.”
